Becoming Catholic

One of us! One of us!

You ever wonder if there is more to life? Every wonder who God is calling you to be?
To quote Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, "There are not one hundred people in the United States who hate The
Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they wrongly perceive the Catholic Church to be.”

If you are curious about the Catholic Faith, want to learn more, or become a member, then RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is perhaps what you are looking for.  We meet once a week, starting in September and participants learn about our Faith as they prepare for reception in the Catholic Church on Easter Saturday.

If you have any questions, or for more information about the process, contact our director, alfredo, during office hours or email

RCIC
Rite of Christian Initiation for Children

What is RCIC?
This form of the rite of Christian initiation is intended for children, who have attained the use of reason (age 7 +) and are of catechetical age. They seek Christian initiation either at the direction of their parents or guardians or, with parental permissions, on their own initiative. Such children are capable of receiving and nurturing a personal faith and of recognizing an obligation in conscience. But they cannot yet be treated as adults because, at this stage of their lives, they are dependent on their parents or guardians and are still strongly influenced by their companions and their social circles.

RCIC Begins in October and concludes at the Easter Vigil the following school year.
